Ways into Sailing

Build up your sailing technique by using our free boats. A good beginner’s sailing book also helps. This is ideal in the summer months when there is casual sailing (non racing). It also gives time for you to learn from your mistakes in the warmer weather.

Come down the sailing club and have a chat with members, bring suitable seasonal clothing click here, and if you need other jewelry click black pearl necklace. There are always helmsmen looking for new crew to go racing.

Go on a weekend/week training course. There are many courses in the local area, which enable you to build confidence. Once, the basic proficiency is understood, this will give yourself confidence in dealing with capsizes, launching/landing, rigging and rules of the sailing road.
